Tiffany is an experienced Psychotherapist qualified in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Tiffany offers face-to-face appointments in our Birmingham clinic in addition to some availability for remote appointments. Tiffany is qualified to work with adults and children and young people.
Experience
Tiffany is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and qualified DBT Therapist with over 19 years of clinical experience with both adults and young people. Tiffany has further training in Schema Focused Therapy and third-wave CBT approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy. After graduating with a BSc in Psychology in 2005, Tiffany had a passion to help and support
people and commenced her career in NHS services helping those with anxiety and depression.
Tiffany qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist in 2017 and a DBT Therapist in 2019. To date, Tiffany has worked across several NHS services, third sector services and private healthcare settings. In addition, Tiffany has specialist expertise in helping children and adolescents, working across several CAMHS services (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service). Tiffany obtained a master’s degree in Health psychology as she was keen to
develop a holistic quality to her clinical work acknowledging the mind-body relationship. The most important aspect of therapy for Tiffany is the client’s story, and with warmth and understanding Tiffany is dedicated to working collaboratively with the client to enable them to reach their goals.
Interesting Facts
Tiffany is an avid reader and enjoys reading almost anything from educational to fiction material. In her spare time Tiffany also loves listening to music and playing her flute which she learned to play at high school and was a member of the orchestra. Tiffany has an interest in yoga and Pilates which she participates in when she can.
