CBT for ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a term used to describe a condition that affects behaviour. Symptoms can include inattention or impulsiveness (or both) that interferes with daily functioning such as difficulties with concentrating on one task.

Here at Oxford CBT we offer a range of ADHD treatments and services both online and in person at our Oxfordshire Clinic.

What is ADHD?

ADHD, although not a disease to be cured, can be managed with effective treatment and therapies. The treatments help children and adults with ADHD receive meaningful assistance to successfully integrate into their daily lives for better living.

Symptoms of ADHD tend to be diagnosed at an early age and may become more noticeable when circumstances in life change. Symptoms usually improve with age, but many adults with the ADHD may experience additional problems such as sleep difficulties, anxiety and feeling low in mood.
