Yasmin Salam

Yasmin has been working in mental health since 2011 where my work began as a counsellor within a small charity working with adults. It was here where I saw the importance in early intervention as many problems were linked to early childhood trauma. I then began working with children and young people as a counsellor in educational settings offering support for a range of emotional problems such as bereavement and low self-esteem. Following this I spent time in CAMHS delivering CBT to children and young people presenting with anxiety and depression. Most recently I have begun working within adult IAPT services as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
