Employers and Mental Health.

Workplaces expose us all to different people, personalities, stresses and worries and can have a huge impact on happiness and quality of life.  Our ability to cope with and enjoy these situations often directly correlate with our wellbeing and ability to perform, interact and develop social skills.

We work with employers, managers and rehabilitation providers across the UK, providing mental health therapy within a group environment. In some circumstances, you may be able to claim on your company health insurance policy for some treatments provided to your employees.

Our Support.

All support provided by Oxford CBT is bespoke and flexible, depending on specific requirements and the intended outcome of any therapy. Any sensitivities or practical considerations are also taken into account and decisions are always made with the full agreement of the patient or their legal guardian.

The sessions we provide will provide a supportive and non-judgemental environmental, aimed at educating and motivating individuals and are always tailored dependent on the feedback of the patient throughout. Sessions themselves are typically one hour long and can take place at our clinics or elsewhere, although we would ask that it is somewhere clean, comfortable and well ventilated.

On request, we can formulate action plans for homeworking between sessions, and/or arrange further appointments if necessary.

How Can You Increase Performance and Productivity

Employee performance and productivity are understandably importance for companies in all sectors. We work with both employers and employees to help them work more effectively with one another, with a view to improving both productivity levels, and personal performance.

What Is Stress management

Stress is a physical response – the result of the body switching to ‘fight or flight’ mode, and releasing a complex mix of hormones and chemicals prepare the body for action. This causes a number of reactions, from blood being diverted to muscles to shutting down unnecessary bodily functions such as digestion. More on work stress management.
