Summary
Indira is an experienced HCPC registered clinical and forensic practitioner psychologist. She specialises in both adult and child mental health assessment and treatment support with a focus on neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism spectrum and ADHD conditions. She is particularly interested in the individual experience of neurodevelopmental conditions and co-morbid mental health. Indira has undertaken a range of post-qualification training related to neurodevelopmental assessment and intervention, including the Autism Diagnostic Schedule (ADOS-2), the Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI-R) and the DIVA-5 for ADHD. She has been working in this specialist field for 15 years and has carried out doctoral level research at Lancaster University into the diagnosis and misdiagnosis of neurodevelopmental conditions between 2015 and 2017.
Experience
Indira has worked with neurodevelopmental conditions and co-morbidity assessment and intervention in both inpatient settings and in the community with both NHS and private hospital service providers. She was Clinical Lead for an NHS Autism Service in 2015 where she undertook assessments for suspected neurodevelopmental conditions in adolescents and adults and has continued to provide assessment and
intervention recommendations for neurodevelopmental conditions as a commissioned Expert for both adults and children in criminal and family cases in England and Wales for the Courts, Local Authorities and the Parole Board. She also offers consultation to other psychologists and legal firms on issues of assessment and intervention for neurodevelopmental conditions. Regarding treatment support, Indira offers CBT, Person-Centred and Solution Focused therapies. She is passionate about Mindfulness, Meditation and Stress Awareness.

Indira enjoys the Arts. She is a keen theatre, opera, ballet and Art exhibition visitor. She enjoys singing, dancing, cooking creatively and trying new things. She also has a keen interest in travel and has lived abroad.
