Summary

Ellen is a warm, approachable and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and Integrative Psychotherapist working in Oxford at Oxford CBT seeing clients face-to-face or via zoom. Ellen is fully accredited with the BABCP and has particular expertise in working with children and adolescents.

Experience

Ellen has worked with children and young people now since 2009 and has been delivering therapy since 2014 when she began as an Integrative Psychotherapist. Ellen also has four years of experience working with young people in a moderate to severe mental health pathway in CAMHS under the NHS, delivering therapy and carrying out care coordination. Prior to this, she worked for two different counselling services working with children and young adults aged 13 to 25 years old. Ellen holds a vast amount of experience in working with young people with Autism and ADHD, adapting the therapy around their individual needs.

Interesting Facts

When Ellen isn’t working, she loves spending quality time with friends and family; she is a very sociable person. Ellen loves being by the sea and by any water. She loves going on holidays and travelling, exploring different parts of the world. Ellen has climbed the three highest peaks in the UK, and an even higher mountain in France.
