What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT is a time-limited therapy and often within  about 6- 8 sessions you will see significant results.

During this type of therapy you will learn to change your unhelpful thoughts and behaviours through exploring your thinking about past, present and future life events.

Rather than focusing on the past we will focus on the here and now simply using the past to help inform us of why you may be thinking or behaving in a certain way. We will use techniques to help you change unhelpful thoughts and ways of behaving.

We will work together on life issues, which may include work stress, difficulties with relationships, excessive pain, self-esteem issues and  uncomfortable emotions such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, stress and anger. Contact us for more information or to book your appointment today.
