Dr Patrick Kennedy-Williams is a qualified Clinical Psychologist. He has worked in the NHS since 2010 across a range of community and inpatient mental health teams. He currently works in the NHS with children and young people with mental health difficulties in the context of chronic physical health conditions, often involving a visible difference. He also has experiencing working with young people on the autism spectrum. The depth and breadth of his training allows him to draw on a number of models of CBT, alongside other ‘third wave’ cognitive therapies, and is flexible in adapting these to the client.
Patrick always places the child and their family first. He understands the importance of working with the whole family, including siblings and parents, in helping young people overcome their difficulties.
