Dr Matthew Hotton is a qualified Clinical Psychologist. He has worked in the NHS since 2012 across a variety of different services and contexts. He currently works in the NHS with children, young people and adults who have chronic physical health conditions, particularly those with conditions which result in visible difference. His training as a Clinical Psychologist allows him to draw upon a broad spectrum of therapeutic models, including: CBT, ‘third wave’ cognitive therapies and attachment theory. Matthew is passionate about working with young people and their families and takes a warm, friendly and collaborative approach to therapy.
